Answer: is the product of the decomposition process using various species of worms, usually red wigglers, white worms, and other earthworms, to create a mixture of decomposing vegetable or food waste, bedding materials, and vermicast.

Vermicast (also called worm castings, worm humus, worm manure, or worm faeces) is the end-product of the breakdown of organic matter by earthworms.[1] These castings have been shown to contain reduced levels of contaminants and a higher saturation of nutrients than the organic materials before vermicomposting.[2]

Vermicompost contains water-soluble nutrients and is an excellent, nutrient-rich organic fertilizer and soil conditioner.[3] It is used in farming and small scale sustainable, organic farming.

Which best describes the alternation of generations? Fertilization produces haploid spores. Meiosis produces a diploid zygote. A
SOVA2 [1]

Answer:

A gametophyte is its haploid phase.

Explanation:

The statement that best-described alternation of generation would that a gametophyte is a haploid phase.

Alternation of generation is a type of life cycle that involves alternating between the diploid (2n) and the haploid phase of the same organism. The haploid gametophyte produces the male and female gametes that fuse together to form a diploid zygote during fertilization.

The zygote divides mitotically to give the diploid sporophyte. The latter undergo meiosis to produce haploid spores which then germinates to give rise to haploid gametophytes and the cycle is repeated.
