Autosomal recessive is one of several ways that a trait, disorder, or disease can be passed down through families. An autosomal recessive disorder means two copies of an abnormal gene must be present in order for the disease or trait to develop.

Reviewing Interactive Solution 5.46 will help in solving this problem. A stone is tied to a string (length = 0.551 m) and whirle
morpeh [17]

Answer:

The speed of the stone is

v = 7.45 m/s

Explanation:

Length, L=0.551m

maximum tension in the spring = 9.6%

So let speed of stone be

Tv = TH + 9.6/ 100 * TH

Tv - m*g = m*v^2/L

TH = m*v^2 / L

Factor mass to cancel in the equation

Solve to v

v^2= L*g*100 / 9.6

Replacing numeric:

v^2=0.551m*9.8m/s^2*100 / 9.6

v = sqrt( 56.24 m^2/s^2)

v = 7.45 m/s

Why is the answer C?
Masja [62]

Explanation:

The horizontal velocity reached by the mass is:

v = v₀ + at

vₓ = 0 + (F/m) (1 s − 0 s)

vₓ = F/m

The force is then removed, so the mass continues at this horizontal velocity.

The vertical velocity reached by the mass is:

v = v₀ + at

vᵧ = 0 + (F/m) (2 s − 1 s)

vᵧ = F/m

The force is then removed, so the mass continues at this vertical velocity.

So at 2 seconds, the mass's velocity has equal components in the x and y directions, and continues to have that velocity at 3 seconds.

Calculate the force of gravity on a spacecraft 12800 km (2 earth radii) above the earth's surface if its mass is 1600 kg. n (tow
Maksim231197 [3]
Since the spacecraft is two earth radii the surface of the earth, it is three earth radii above the center.

Given: Radius of the earth re = 6.38 x 10⁶ m  r = 1.91 x 10⁷ m

           Mass of the spacecraft Ms = 1600 Kg

           Mass of the earth Me = 5.98 x 10²⁴ Kg

           G = 6.67 X 10⁻¹¹ N.m²/Kg²

Formula: F = GMeMs/r²

           F = (6.67 X 10⁻¹¹ N.m²/Kg²)(5.98 x 10²⁴ Kg)(1,600 Kg)/(1.91 x 10⁷ m)²

           F = 6.38 X 10¹⁷ N/3.65 X 10¹⁴ m²

           F = 1,748.5 N

What is the basic definition of a black hole?
polet [3.4K]

Explanation:

Black holes are the most massive and dense objects in the whole universe. They are peculiar objects. The gravity near black hole is so strong that even light can not escape it. That is why the name: Black hole. It is formed after the death of a supermassive star. All the mass of the star is condensed in to a very small area having a very string gravity. Imagine the Sun squeezed in to an object of diameter of just 3 km!

You can define it as a dead super massive star from which nothing can escape.
