a = number of adults, c = number of children, t = total cost

21.75a + 15.25c = t

21.75(2) + 15.25(4) = t

43.50 + 61.00 = t

104.50 = t

The total cost of admission for this family is $104.50.

The Answer Is 104.50 Because You Have To Multiply The Two Adults By The Admission ( 21.75×2 ) And Also Multiply The Four Kids By The Admission ( 15.25×4 ) And Add Both Of Those Answers Together ( 43.50+61.00=104.50)

Select steps that could be used to solve the equation 1 + 3x = -x + 4.
Tema [17]

For this case we have the following equation:

1 + 3x = -x + 4

We must solve the equation by following the steps below:

We subtract 1 from both sides of the equation:

3x = -x + 4-1

On the right side of the equation we have that different signs are subtracted and the sign of the major is placed:

3x = -x + 3

We add x to both sides of the equation:

3x + x = 3\\4x = 3

We divide between 4 on both sides of the equation:

x = \frac {3} {4}

Thus, the correct option is option B

Answer:

x = \frac {3} {4}

Option B

What is the equation of the function in slope-intercept form?
Rasek [7]
To write this equation, you need use the formula y=mx+b.

m represents the slope and b represents the y intercept.

The y intercept is the point where the line touches the y axis. In this case, the y-intercept is 1.

The slope is just rise over run from one coordinate to another. The slope is 2/-1 which could be simplified as -2. The slope just means that we are going up 2 and left 1 to get to a new coordinate.

The equation is y=-2x+1

Ten thousand raffle tickets are sold. one first prize of$2000,4 second prizes of $800 each, and10 third prizes of$400 each are t
Makovka662 [10]
From the information given:
Random wins      2000       800        400           0
Probabilities        1/10^4   4/10^4    10/10^4    9985/10^4
thus the expectation will be:
E(x)=[2000+4*800+4000+9985*0]/10^4
E(x)=9200/10000
E(x)=$0.92
