( 8x + 6 ) / 5 - ( 6x - 12 ) / 2 = 1 / 2 ;
( 16x + 12 ) / 10 - ( 30x - 60 ) / 10 = 5 / 10 ;
16x + 12 - 30x + 60 = 5 ;
- 14x + 72 = 5 ;
- 14x = - 67 ;
x = 67 / 14 = 4.78 ;

Multiply both sdies by 10 to get rid of the fractions
20(4x+3)/5-60(x-2)/2=5
4(4x+3)-30(x-2)=5
distribute
16x+12-30x+60=5
add like terms
-14x+72=5
subtract 72 from both sdies
-14x=-67
multiplyh -1
14x=67
divide both sdies by 14
x=67/14

A vender bought an earphone for $1378 and she sold it in order to make a profit of 17. 5% calculate the profit made in cash and
Inessa [10]

The profit he made from selling his hearing aids at a profit of 17% is $234.26.

<h3>How to calculate the profit obtained?</h3>

To calculate the profit obtained, we must calculate how much money is equal to 17% of $1,378.

  • $1,378 ÷ 100 = $13.78
  • $13.78 × 17 = $234.26

Based on the above, 17% of $1,378 equals $234.26. On the other hand, to calculate the final sale price of the earphone, we add the initial value plus the value of the profit.

$1,378 + $234.26 = $1,612.26

OverLord2011 [107]

Answer:

About 53% percent of the students went to the cafeteria.

Step-by-step explanation:

there are 26 students and 14 left that can be put into the fraction 14/26.

To find the percentage you then divide 14 by 26 and turn it into a percent and you get something like 53.846... but you can simplify it to 53%

20 POINTS<br> HELP ME PLEASE<br> How many solutions does the system have
finlep [7]

Answer:

Two

Step-by-step explanation:

x² + 4 = 4x + 1

x² - 4x + 3 = 0

x² - 3x - x + 3 = 0

x(x - 3) - (x - 3) = 0

(x - 3)(x - 1) = 0

x = 1, 3

y = 4(1) + 1 = 5

y = 4(3) + 1 = 13

Two solutions: (1,5) (3,13)
