An energy pyramid is helpful in understanding the relationship between food and energy, because the most energy (generally grass, or plants) is at the bottom, and meat eating predators are at the tippy top (less energy). Producers, primary consumers, secondary consumers and tertiary consumers are all on the energy pyramid. I hope this was helpful:)

Why might waves from the same earthquake cause more damage in one area than another?
ra1l [238]
A tsunami can send a wave in multiple directions. Over time a wave will not have as much energy as did when the wave was first started. So when the tsunami hits land it will not be as strong as another wave generated from that same earthquake. EX: When the tsunami hit Japan it knocked over buildings, meanwhile America was hit with a wave from the same earthquake. However the damage was much less.

Explanation:

The human cells are not capable of creating simple sugars from smaller molecules.

Simple sugars cannot be further hydrolyzed by the human body.

  • It is only the process of photosynthesis that creates simple sugars from smaller molecules.
  • The human cells are not capable of carrying out this process.
  • During photosynthesis, green plants manufacture glucose, a simple sugar by combining carbon dioxide and water in the presence of sunlight.
