Solution:

32 - 15=

If you will look at this problem, the greater number is positive integer and smaller number is negative integer, so just subtract smaller from larger one and put that sign before the result which larger integer bears.

You can write it as , - 15 + 32 , and you will get same result.

2. Method: By Marking -15 and 32 on number line

Mark 15 and 32 on number line,start marking circles 1,2,3 from 16 to 31, as there will be 17 circles between 15 to 32, which is the result.

Proposed statement/question:
Jonathan has 32 math problems to do by the weekend.
On Thursday he completes 15 math problems. How many more math problems does Jonathan need to finish in order to be done before the weekend?

The answer to this question would be as follows:
Total questions to answer is 32
Number of questions answered is 15
Number of questions left is unknown

Therefore:
Total questions to answer = questions answered + questions left
32 = 15 + questions left
questions left = 32 - 15

A rectangle has a length of 80 units and a width of 39 units. Find the length of the diagonal.
levacccp [35]
Equation = a² + b² = c²

a = 80
b = 39
c = Diagonal

a² + b² = c²
80² + 39² = c²
6400 + 1521 = c²
 c² = 7921
 c = √7921
 c = 89

Answer = 89 units

The liters in the tank when it is filled to a height of 3.70 is 5,580 liters

The liters that needs to be added to 100% capacity is 480 liters

What is the volume?

A right circular cone is a three dimensional object has a flat circular base that tapers to a vertex. The volume of a right circular cone is the amount of space in the right circular cone.

Volume of a cone = 1/3(πr²h)

Where:

 • π = pi = 3.14
 • r = radius
 • h = height

Volume of the right circular cone when its filled to a height of 3.70 = 1/3 x 3.14 x 3.70 x 1.20² = 5.58 m³

5.58 x 1000 = 5,580 liters

Volume of the right circular cone when it is full = 1/3 x 3.14 x 4 x 1.20² = 6.03 m³

6.03 x 1000 = 6030 liters

Liters that needs to be added to 100% capacity = 6030 liters - 5,580 liters = 480 liters

Average movie prices in the United States are, in general, lower than in other countries. It would cost $77.79 to buy three tick
sukhopar [10]

Answer:

{Japan: $25.93} {Switzerland: $22.05}

Step-by-step explanation:

It's simple to solve for Japan but for Switzerland you got to do some reverse math.

For Japan all you gotta do is divide the given total by three because you're finding how much one ticket costs and not three. so there you have $25.93

For Switzerland here comes the reverse math. you have to take your $25.93 times 2 because is says "plus two tickets in Japan" so you have $51.86

Now that you've figured out the total of two tickets in Japan, you can subtract that from the given total ($73.91) and the answer is $22.05
