Chordates include many species, and humans are also chordates!

some adaptations that both humans (and other chordates) and plants needed to do to live on land were:
-protect the offspring from the environment (before the offspring could be just released into water) for example by covering seeds by shells
-evolve pores in the skin for gas and other substance exchange
-protection from drying up -a better outside layer, such as the skin!

Bacteria are a type of biological cell that has an Intracellular or internal structure.

Structural components are located in bacteria, and we can find there DNA, ribosomes, cell wall and membrane, surface layer and cytoplasm.

In bacteria structural components aren't found '<u>The nucleus</u>' and that is a membrane-enclosed organelle.

Answer:

A group of parasites called myxozoans have traditionally been considered simple multicellular protists. However, because these organisms possess stinging cells, some scientists consider them to be animals in the phylum that is named for such cells, the <u>cnidarians</u>.

Explanation:

Cnidarians are animals with radial symmetry, that is, their bodies can be divided, by different planes, into equal parts. It includes hydras, jellyfish, anemones and marine corals. Its body is a kind of sac with an opening (the mouth) surrounded by a circle of tentacles. Some have a dominant jellyfish phase, others polyp, or both. They present defensive nematocysts with stinging action.

Environmental factors can influence natural selection because they can increase or decrease
olchik [2.2K]

Answer:

Environmental factors can influence natural selection because they can increase or decrease the amount of genetic variation in a population.

Explanation:

Natural selection is a process that involves the survival of species through changes in the expression of their genes, making possible the process of adaptation to environmental changes. It is one of the explanations for the biological evolution of species.

The second premise, necessary for natural selection to be possible, implies the existence of a variability (genetics) of traits among individuals in a population.

The other premises of natural selection are the faculty of traits to be inheritable and that genetic variability should lead to reproductive success and survival.

  • <em>The other options are not related to the process of natural selection, since it is not possible for natural selection to increase or decrease the number of chromosomes, in addition to the fact that genetic variability must be observed in a population, not in a single individual, to be considered natural selection </em>
