Answer:

The state of Georgia Begun auctioning off Cherokee land in 1828 because there were prospectors that wanted to mine Cherokee land for gold.

Explanation:

There was a gold rush at the time and the Cherokee land was important for two reasons. On the first hand, they were unexploited and there were traces of gold in the Cherokee land, however, it was not developed for gold mining. On the second hand, because there were many buyers at the time and the State of Georgia saw the opportunity o selling the lots to capitalize on it. Nevertheless, they didn't guarantee that all of them would contain or be rich in gold. It helped the state because many investors arrived and developed railroads as well as many other industries. In the end, there were a lot of winners because Georgia had a big amount of gold mines and the state got money, development, and population.

Answer:

It looks like the item that you posted has missing information but I'd like to answer this statement. Civil disobedience is a non-violent, public refusal to obey allegedly unjust laws. Examples of civil disobedience are Salt March, Extramadura Campaign, Flying pickets and sit-ins, dismantling unwanted enterprises, and poll tax non-payment.
