I'm assuming your equation is (y^4*y^n)/y^2=y^-3 correct?

Exponent rule: a^b*a^c=a^(b+c)

(y^4*y^n)/(y^2)=y^-3 becomes (y^(4+n))/(y^2)=y^-3

Exponent rule: a^b/a^c=a^(b-c)

New equation becomes y^(2+n)=y^-3

Get rid of the bases and you're left with 2+n=-3

Subtract 2 on both sides: n=-5

Answer is n=-5

Hope this helped and please mark as brainliest!

How are the genotypes and phenotypes of parents related to the genotypes and phenotypes of offspring (how are the offspring like
lozanna [386]

Mendel observed that a heterozygote offspring can show the same phenotype as the parent homozygote, so he concluded that there were some traits that dominated over other inherited traits. However, the relationship of genotype to phenotype is rarely as simple as the dominant and recessive patterns described by Mendel.

Where is a codon found
ICE Princess25 [194]

Answer:

A codon is found on the coding strand of double-stranded DNA and in the (single-stranded) mRNA. The anticodon is found on the tRNA and is the part that base-pairs with the codon (on the mRNA) in order to bring the appropriate amino acid to the ribosome to be added to the growing peptide chain.
