Anaphylaxis may be defined as the serious allergic reaction that may occur rapid onset and may cause even death as well. The symptoms are shortness of breath and tongue swelling.

The emergency medical services (EMS) provider asks the question about the sudden involvement of body in allergic response. This occur because the exposure of the body with the new antigen will create the specific antibodies  against that antigen. These antibodies acts as the root cause for the development of the later anaphylactic response in the body.
