Biomes are specific geographic area of the planet that can be grouped based on the animals and plants that live in it. Certain factors such as soil, temperature, and the amount of light and water determine the type of life that exists in a biome. Examples of biomes include marine, forest, tundra, grassland, freshwater, and desert. Non examples of biome include houses, furniture, vehicles, trains, factories, pencils etc.

What plant requirement is the Cusichaca Andina group working to preserve
qaws [65]

The Cusichaca Andina is the name of an organization, which is attempting to preserve a small, pink potato from the Andes, known as huana. It is considered one of the perfect crops for uncertain times, as it resists extreme rain, frost, and drought. It can be stored for two to three years.

The organization is also trying to revive the irrigation facility, which Incas utilized in the Andean region, and researching other conventional crops, like amaranth, quinoa, squashes, and potatoes.

Choose all that apply. Which of the following is true in a comparison of your skin cells to your kidney cells?
ruslelena [56]

Given our understanding of the mechanisms behind genetic expression, we can confirm that when comparing skin cells to kidney cells, the only correct option is option 4 which states that the cells "<u><em>transcribe many different genes</em></u>".

The human genome encodes for <em><u>every gene in the human body</u></em>. This genome sequence is stored in the chromosomes of cells. These chromosomes are identical for every single cell in the human body. Therefore, every cell contains the same DNA, genes, and transcription factors in its chromosomes.

What allows each cell type in the human body the ability to differentiate from one another and complete vastly different functions is the way in which these genes are expressed. Though every cell contains the entire genetic code, only some genes for each cell are transcribed, which results in a different combination of proteins in each cell and leads to the difference between skin and kidney cells (as just one of many examples).

What element will a low mass star produce over its entire life?
adelina 88 [10]

Explanation:

Over its lifetime, a low mass star consumes its core hydrogen and converts it into helium. The core shrinks and heats up gradually and the star gradually becomes more luminous. Eventually nuclear fusion exhausts all the hydrogen in the star's core
