Biomes are specific geographic area of the planet that can be grouped based on the animals and plants that live in it. Certain factors such as soil, temperature, and the amount of light and water determine the type of life that exists in a biome. Examples of biomes include marine, forest, tundra, grassland, freshwater, and desert. Non examples of biome include houses, furniture, vehicles, trains, factories, pencils etc.

I assume the second option because the half sun half shade situation would provide the nutrients for the plants and at the same time nit half too much( since some plants need indirect sunlight and this is a good compromise) also glass is typically used in greenhouses and therefore would be my container of choice and fertilizer will assist in plant growth
