what are some of the differences between jewish and christian canons of the bible and how can they be explained
RideAnS [48]
Jews do not believe that Jesus Christ was the returning messiah Christians do. New Testament was all about a new way of life because Jesus came. Jews live by the Old Testament but Christians see it as you can learn from it but some/all sacrifices and laws do not apply. Christians live by the New Testament and Jews think it made up. Hope that helps.

A good sense of contentment means that you work hard throughout your life, leaving little time for rest and play.
Norma-Jean [14]
If you work hard, but only work, and do not take your time to rest and to do other things that you enjoy (hobbies, play) then you might suffer a burn-out and be tired. this might affect your health, be a source of stress - so it will not bring contentment.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (als) is often referred to as ________________ and the cornerstone of treatment is _______________
Andrei [34K]

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is often referred to as Lou Gehrig's Disease and the cornerstone of treatment is symptom management.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) or Lou Gehrig's Disease is a disease of the nervous system. The affected parts include the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. The disease progresses with time and causes the patient to lose control over his muscles.

Early symptoms include slurred speech, weakness in the limbs, twitching of muscles, and eventually inability to perform basic functions like moving, speaking, eating, and even breathing. The causes are unknown, though genetics may be one.

There is no cure, so the cornerstone of treatment is symptom management. These include taking medications like Riluole, doing physical therapy, speech therapy, and getting psychological support.
