Answer:B

Explanation:

Given

Wavelength of light \lambda =590\ nm

Screen distance L=80\ cm

First fringe is at a distance y_1=1.9\ cm

No of lines per mm is given by N

N=\frac{1}{d}

where d=slit width

From N-slits Experiment

\sin \theta _m=\frac{m\lambda }{d}

d=\frac{m\lambda }{\sin \theta _m}-----1

Position of bright fringe is given by

y=\tan \theta _m\cdot L

\tan \theta _m=\frac{y}{L}

\theta _m=\tan^{-1}(\frac{y}{L})

Put the value of \theta _m  in eq. 1

d=\frac{m\lambda }{\sin (\tan^{-1}(\frac{y}{L}))}

Therefore N=d^{-1}

N=\frac{\sin (\tan^{-1}(\frac{y}{L}))}{m\lambda }

for m=1

N=\frac{\sin (\tan^{-1}(\frac{1.9\times 10^{-2}}{0.8}))}{1\times 590\times 10^{-9}}

N=40243\ line/m

N=40\ line/mm

An atom's valence electron shell Multiple Choice1. is filled when it has three electrons. 2. determines its chemical reactivity.
yKpoI14uk [10]

Answer: An atom valence electron shell determines its chemical reactivity.

Explanation:

An atom's valence electron shell determines its chemical reactivity. The amount of electrons in the outermost shell of an atom is its valence electron and it determines how reactive the atom is.

The reactivity of an atom depends on the number of electrons in its outermost shell. Atoms that has their outermost electrons full e.g noble gases like argon, krypton etc are unreactive because there is no room for the atom to donate or accept any electron.

Elements like sodium and chlorine are reactive because they possesses 1 and 7 electrons in their outermost shell respectively as such they can donate and accept electrons making them reactive elements.

Two loudspeakers emit sound waves along the x-axis. The sound has maximum intensity when the speakers are 22 cm apart. The sound
Aliun [14]

Answer:

Negative interference

Explanation:

Thinking process:

In the physics, the interference is when there is either an additive or destructive effect in the effects of sound. In the first scenario, the sound is loudest when the speakers are separated at 22 cm apart. This is as a result of constructive interference. Constructive interference results from the additive effect of waves to give the highest pitch.  However, as the speakers are moved further, the sound decreases. This is because of the destructive interference where the waves are not much of addition.
