In addition to the military reorganization, the National Security Act established the National Security Council, a coordination center for national security policy in the executive branch, and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA); the first American intelligence agency established in times of peace therefor I believe Truman had good leadership and set the foundations dor US security and way of living.
