It is because a market economy is where the decisions are usually based on their interplay in regards of their supply and demand whereas command economy is being controlled or under by the government in means of producing, pricing or even incomes.</span>

Most people think this(myself included) Because the Metric unit of measurement is much easier to follow than the English unit of measurement because there aren't many decimals and half number they are whole number that can be added and subtracted easily.
