Q = p(r + s)
If you're solving for p, then you have to isolate it. So, just divide both sides by the expression (r+s)
Q/(r+s) = p
That's it.

Which is the graph of y- 3 = -2/3(x + 6)?
Olegator [25]

Answer:

put points on (1.5, 0) and (0, -1), then draw a continuous line through them

Step-by-step explanation:

y - 3 = -2/3(x + 6)

y - 3 = (-2/3)x - 4

y = (-2/3)x - 1

0 = (-2/3)x - 1

1 = (-2/3)x

x = 3/2 = 1.5

y = (-2/3)(0) - 1

y = -1

Find the x-and y-intercepts.<br> 4x + y = 12x - 1<br> The x-intercept is<br> The y-intercept is
AnnZ [28]

Answer:

The x-intercept is \frac{1}{8}

The y-intercept is -1

Step-by-step explanation:

Lets find x-intercept:

for y substitute 0

4x+0=12x-1

subtract 4x both sides

0=8x-1

add 1 both sides

1=8x

divide 8 both sides

\frac{1}{8}=x

lets find y-intercept:

for x substitute 0

4(0)+y=12(0)-1

multiply 4(0) and 12(0) which would equal 0 in this case, you dont have to write the 0s.

y=-1

Hopefully it helps
