Answer:

Translate the pre-image down 4 and right 3 and then reflect the figure over the x-axis.

Step-by-step explanation:

The pre-image consists of points:

(1, 3), (2, 1), (-1, 2)

Translating them down 4 units, we get:

(1, 3-4), (2, 1-4), (-1, 2-4)

(1, -1), (2, -3), (-1, -2)

Translating them right 3, we get:

(1+3, -1), (2+3, -3), (-1+3, -2)

(4, -1), (5, -3), (2, -2)

Reflecting them over the x-axis., we get:

(4, -(-1)), (5, -(-3)), (2, -(-2))

(4, 1), (5, 3), (2,2)

which correspond to the points of the image

cupoosta [38]
We know that
A relationship between two variables, x, and y, is proportional if it can be expressed in the form y/x=k or y=kx
in this problem
k=2
then
y=2x

therefore

the answer is the option
y=2x

Please help me with this question!
mixer [17]

Hi! I'm happy to help!

To solve this, we have to divide the 18 pounds, in 1/8 portions. We do this with division. To make this problem easier to solve, we need to turn it into a multiplication problem (opposite of division). To still make the problem correct, we have to take the opposite of one of our numbers. Let's take 1/8, and turn it into 8, now we have the problem:

18×8=

Now all we have to do is multiply:

18×8=

144

He can make 144 croissants!

I hope this was helpful, keep learning! :D

Use the graph to answer the question. About how many more website hits were there on Tuesday than on Monday? A. 700 B. 400 C. 60
nadezda [96]
In this graph, each day has its own graph, starting at the bottom with Monday, to the top at Sunday. To know how many hits each day had, go to the end of the graph, and the closest number at the bottom is how many hits there were. This graph states that there were around 1900 hits on Tuesday, and 1300 on Monday. To get the answer we then take the difference, getting 600.

While traveling to Europe, Phelan exchanged 250 US dollars for euros. He spent 150 euros on his trip. After returning to the Uni
Anettt [7]
Since the exchange rate of euro to USD right now is 1:1.11, therefore he spent 150x1.11=166.5 USD. Therefore, he has 250-166.5=83.5 USD left(assuming the exchange rate is the same, 1.17).
