What is the slope of a line that is perpendicular to the line 2y-3x=8?

Mathematics

To do this you need to put it in function form.
Here's the work
2y-3x = 8

2y-3x = 8
+3x +3x
2y = 3x+8
/2. /2
y = 3/2x + 8

To find perpendicular you multiply the slope the the opposite reciprocal.

y = -2/3x + 8
Then the +8 doesn't really matter now
Slope that is perpendicular is -2/3x

A. Solve for y.<br> B. What is the measure of the missing angles?
Alik [6]
Answer: A.) y = 15 B.) (5y + 3)° = 78° (4y + 8)° = 68° and 34°

Steps:
180° - 146° = 34°

180 = 34 + (5y + 3) + (4y + 8)
180 - 34 = (5y + 3) + (4y + 8)
146 = (5y + 3) + (4y + 8)
146 = 5y + 3 + 4y + 8
146 = 9y + 11
146 - 11 = 9y
135 = 9y
135/ 9 = y
15 = y

(5y + 3)
5(15) + 3
75 + 3
78
(5y + 3) = 78

(4y + 8)
4(15) + 8
60 + 8
68
68 = (4y + 8)

Check:
68 + 78 + 34 = 180
180 = 180 ✅

The graph of f(x) = 24x^2 + 63x +34/ 4x + 3 has an oblique asymptote at y =
g100num [7]

<em>Correct answer is C). 6X+11</em>

Step-by-step explanation:

The given function f(x)= \frac{24x^{2} +63x + 34 }{4x+3}

On simplying the function f(x),

f(x)= \frac{6x(4x+3) -18x +63x + 34 }{4x+3}

f(x)= \frac{6x(4x+3) +45x + 34}{4x+3}

f(x)= \frac{6x(4x+3) +11(4x+3)+x-33 + 34 }{4x+3}

f(x)= \frac{6x(4x+3) +11(4x+3)+x+1}{4x+3}

f(x)=(6x+11)+\frac{(x+1)}{4x+3}

From above equation

"(6x+11)" is Oblique asymptote and \frac{(x+1)}{4x+3} is vertical asymptote

Therefore, Correct answer is C). 6X+11

A team of 3 QA testers and l QA team lead is working on a project. The team finishes
valina [46]

The team-lead gets $2000 if the team of 3 QA testers and l QA team lead is working on a project. The team finishes the job and is paid.

<h3>What is average?</h3>

It is defined as the single number that represents the mean value for the given set of data or the closed value for each entry given in the set of data.

Let's suppose the team lead salary is x and the team-lead receives, $600 more than the average salary of the entire team then,

The team lead salary:

\rm x = \dfrac{1200+1200+1200+x}{4} + 600

4x = 3600+ x+ 2400

3x = 6000

x = $2000

Thus, the team lead gets $2000 if the team of 3 QA testers and l QA team lead is working on a project. The team finishes the job and is paid.
