Brittany opened a savings account with an annual interest rate of 10% and an initial deposit of $7000. If her interest is compou
GenaCL600 [577]

Initial Deposit = $7000

It means P= $7000

rate of interest = 10%

So , r = 0.10

compounded quarterly , so  n = 4

and we have to find the amount after 5 years , So t = 5

Now the formula we use here is

A= P(1+\frac{r}{n} )^{nt}

A= 7000(1+\frac{0.10}{4} )^{(4)(5)}

A= 7000(1.025 )^{(20)}

A= 7000(1.63861644029)

A= 11470.315

So amount after 5 years = $11470.315

From the airport hanger H, an areoplane A is 18km away on the bearing of 115° while another aeroplane B is 29km away on a bearin
maks197457 [2]

The difference in distance between Aero plane A and B is; 34.67 km

<h3>How to calculate bearing?</h3>

To get the bearing;

∠H = (115 - 90) + (270 - 203)

∠H = 92°

Then, we will use cosine rule to get the distance between both Planes A and B.

d_ab = √(18² + 29² - 2(18 * 29) * cos 92)

d_ab = √(324 + 841 + 36.435)

d_ab = 34.67 km

Having serious block because of the units The density of mercury is 13.6 g/cm3. What approximate mass of mercury is required to
mart [117]
I would approach the problem like this:

1 oz bottle.............................30cm^3
33 oz bottle.............................xcm^3

in a 33 oz bottle will be x=33*30=990cm^3
density=mm/v
13.6g/cm^3= m/ 990cm^3
m= 13.6 * 990=13464 g
or 13.464 kg in a 33 oz bottle
