Physics

Momentum = mass * velocity

p = mv

p = 1.5 kg * 40 ms^-1

p = 60 kgm/s

To find components of a vector:

px = p * cos(theta)
px = 60 * cos(30)
px = 51.96 = 52 (rounded to two significant digits)

py = p * sin(theta)
py = 60 * sin(30)
py = 30

He initial momentum is 60kgm/s
The horizontal component is 52 kgm/s
The vertical component is 30 kgm/s

The time required to produce one cycle of a wave is known as the waves
eimsori [14]
The time described above is known as the waves Period.
The time which it takes for a particle to complete one full cycle is known as the period. Period is normally measured in seconds. Frequency on the other hand is the number of cycles which are completed in a given period of time e.g a second. periodic time T is given by reciprocal of frequency (1/f).

What is the purpose of nucleophilic substitution reactions of akyly halides experiment?
OleMash [197]

The purpose of nucleophilic substitution reactions of alkyl halides experiment is to demonstrate in the laboratory setting Nucleophilic substitution reactions of alkyl halides.

In this it is been  aimed to observe nucleophilic substitution reactions, SN1 and SN2 will by the addition of a solvent to mixtures of alkyl halides. In order to make this experiment effective a standard procedure is being used  and noted observations while each reaction occurred.

Nucleophilic substitution reactions are an important class of reactions that allow the interconversion of functional groups. For alcohols, the range of substitution reactions possible can be increased by utilizing the tosylates (R-OTs), an alternative method of converting the -OH to a better leaving group.

Which term describes the ability to process many things simultaneously?
stellarik [79]

Answer:

Parallel processing

Explanation:

It is a parallel processing because it involves the brain processing many part of problem simultaneously.

The brain natural mode of information involves performing many task .

It is also ability of the brain to simultaneously process incoming stimuli or signals of different quality. It is a part of brain's vision and divide what is seen into four major parts which are color, motion, shape, and depth.

A force of 100 N is applied to a crate at an angle of 60° to the horizontal surface.
ad-work [718]

Answer:

100 J

Explanation:

Given:

Force acting on the crate is, F=100\ N

Displacement of the crate is, S=2\ m

Angle between the direction of force and displacement is, \theta=60\°

Now, work done by a force 'F' causing a displacement 'S' such that the angle between the force and displacement is \theta is given as:

Work=F\times S\times \cos\theta

Now, plug in 100 N for 'F', 2 m for 'S', and 60° for \theta. This gives,

Work=(100\ N)(2\ m)(\cos(60))\\\\Work=(200\times 0.5)\ \textrm{N-m}\\\\Work=100\ J

Therefore, the work done by the force is 100 J.
