One third of 24 because 3 is a whole number smaller than 4 so the answer would be 3/24 not 4/16.

1/3 of 24 is 8.  1/4 of 16 is 4.  So 1/3 of 24 is bigger

How does 0.03 compare to 0.003
kati45 [8]

0.03 compare to 0.003

While comparing decimals we write the decimals one below the other according to the place value of each digits in place value chart

ones -- point -- Tenths -- Hundredths -- Thousandths

 0          .             0              3

 0          .             0              0                      3

Now we compare each digit left to right. We have 3 in hundredths  and 0 in hundredths place. 3 is greater

So 0.03  is greater than  0.003

0.03 > 0.003

Aloiza [94]

The error is that 9 shouldnt be written as nine it should be written as 3x3 or 3^2. So the answer should be 2^3 x 3^2 because 9 can be divided into even more prime factors of 72.

Find the distance between the points (3 4) and (4 3)
Usimov [2.4K]

Answer:

\sqrt{2} or 1.414213

Step-by-step explanation:

Use the distance formula to determine the distance between the two points.

d = \sqrt{(x_{2} -x_{1})^{2} + (y_{2} - x_{1})^{2}  }

d = distance

(x_{1}, y_{1}) = coordinates of the first point

(x_{2}, y_{2}) = coordinates of the second point
