In July:

First week:

Number of people went to the local swimming pool =1040

Second week:

110 fewer people went to the pool than in the first week

so,

Number of people went to the local swimming pool =1040-110

=930

Third week:

130 more people went to the pool than in the second week

so,

Number of people went to the local swimming pool =930+130

=1060

Fourth week:

228 fewer people went to the pool than in the third week

so,

Number of people went to the local swimming pool =1060-228

=832

Decrease in number of people over four week= number of people in first week - number of people in fourth week

Decrease in number of people over four week=1040-832

=208

now, we can find percentage

Percentage is

=\frac{208}{1040} \times 100

=20%.........Answer

What is the difference between the fractions? Use the number line to help find the answer.
NNADVOKAT [17]

Answer:

The difference is \frac{3}{10}

Step-by-step explanation:

We must find the common denominator of the fractions.

The common denominator of \frac{1}{2} and \frac{1}{5} is 2*5=10; therefore we have

\frac{1}{2}=\frac{5}{10}

\frac{1}{5} =\frac{2}{10}

now it is easy to subtract \frac{5}{10} -\frac{2}{10} using the number line: we have to move \frac{3}{10} units to the left in order to get to \frac{2}{10}.

Thus our answer is

\boxed{\frac{1}{2} -\frac{1}{5}=\frac{3}{10} }

maria [59]

Answer:

The correct answer to the following question will be Option 1 (All Montana residents).

Step-by-step explanation:

  • Barry Beach told journalists managed to gather next to the front main entrance of Montana federal penitentiary across lunchtime that perhaps the point in time seemed to be 'surreal.'
  • A news broadcast in Bozeman was desperately trying to find out how and why individuals in Montana perceive and say about the official launch of Beach. It certainly indicates 'All Montana Residents' seems to be the group of people of benefit after that.

Other choices aren't linked to just the scenario in question. Option 1 seems to be the perfect solution.
