Answer:

Demand characteristics bias(a type of response bias)

Explanation:

Demand characteristics bias occurs when participants in an experiment become aware of the hypothesis being tested and try to align their answers to support the hypothesis. When participants in research are aware that the answers they would produce to questions asked would make them seem bad, they might produce dishonest answers that would have a skewed effect on the research.

The type of bias displayed by these participants who produced samples of beautiful, legible handwriting was based on the fact that they knew the hypothesis being tested and wanted to prove by their actions that the hypothesis was true. This made them produce samples that were not a true reflection of their personalities. This would definitely affect Naveen's research.

Blizzard [7]

Answer:

SELF ESTEEM

Explanation:

Brenda feels good about her accomplishments. She made the soccer team, got straight A's in her classes, and has three really good friends. Brenda's evaluation of herself and her feelings about her evaluation are known as SELF ESTEEM.

In psychology, the term self-esteem is used to describe a person's overall sense of self worth or personal value.

In other words, it is how much you appreciate and like yourself and often seen as a personality trait, which means that it tends to be stable and enduring.

Self-esteem is also an individual's subjective evaluation of their own worth. It encompasses beliefs about oneself for example, "I am unloved", "I am worthy"

The Supreme Court opined that the "guided discretion" statutes would respect the defendant's basic human dignity, as required by
Ymorist [56]

Answer: True

Explanation: The Supreme Court admitted that it is haphazard to treat similar things differently and that mandatory death penalty statutes eliminated this problem, but also reckless to treat two different things the same way. In essence, to impose the same penalty on all convicted murderers, even though all defendants

are different, is just as capricious as imposing a penalty randomly.

To relieve this problem, some sentencing guidelines became necessary. This gave rise to the guided discretion statutes that set standards for juries and judges to

use when deciding whether to impose the death penalty. The Court reasoned that, guided discretion statutes struck a reasonable balance between giving the jury some discretion and allowing it to consider the defendant's background and character and the circumstances surrounding the crime.

2. Explain the steps that occur as a society becomes a civilization
slamgirl [31]
There are several factors for establishing a civilization which are:

Big population centers: These help people survive with the help of each other, like farmers can grow and sell in these areas etc.

Monumental Architecture or Art: This will be identified as their legacy

Record Keeping: This can be a language or any other recording system to help record the history and traditions.

System of administering areas: Help run the place smoothly.

Labor division: Various people are skilled at various jobs, to do a certain job a skilled laborer is required.

Social Class System: It can be based on wealth as well as the type of work performed.

In order to become a civilization a society needs to bring all these attributes in and work towards a common goal of achieving them.
