Answer:

\bar X = \frac{8+11+17+7+19}{5}= 12.4

And the can be founded with this formula:

s = \sqrt{\frac{\sum_{i=1}^n (X_i-\bar X)^2}{n-1}}

s = \sqrt{\frac{(8-12.4)^2 +(11-12.4)^2 +(17-12.4)^2 +(7-12.4)^2 +(19-12.4)^2}{5-1}} =5.367

And rounded to the nearest tenth we got s= 5.4

Step-by-step explanation:

For this case we have the following data given:

8, 11, 17, 7, 19

The first step is calculate the sample mean with this formula:

\bar X = \frac{\sum_{i=1}^n X_i}{n}

And replacing we got:

\bar X = \frac{8+11+17+7+19}{5}= 12.4

And the deviation can be founded with this formula:

s = \sqrt{\frac{\sum_{i=1}^n (X_i-\bar X)^2}{n-1}}

And replacing we got:

s = \sqrt{\frac{(8-12.4)^2 +(11-12.4)^2 +(17-12.4)^2 +(7-12.4)^2 +(19-12.4)^2}{5-1}} =5.367

And rounded to the nearest tenth we got s= 5.4

Is anyone good at geometry???
zhenek [66]
Hey there Smarty!

This would be considered to be a (acute angel) which in this case, we would have to make sure that this whole triangle would equal less than 270 because each angle would be less than 90°

If we add/multiply \boxed{(90+90+90) \ or \ (90*3) = 270}.

So, we would have to know that was ever this would all add up to be, this would have to be less than 270°

\left[\begin{array}{ccc}\boxed{\boxed{(2.5+5) \\ \\ (2.5*2.5) \\ (2.5-2) \\ (2.5-1) \\}} \\ \\ this \ would \ be \ why \ I \ would \ say \\ that \ this \ would \ be \ the \ answer \end{array}\right]

I truly hope this helps, and also, it's kind of my
 first time doing this I hope this would be helpful.
