Mostly collect like terms
use associative property which is
(a+b)+c=a+(b+c)
and remember that:
you just use a general rule
x+x=2x
x^2+x^2=2x^2
3xy4xy=7xy
3x+4x^2=3x+4x^2
you can only add like terms( like terms are terms that are same name like x or y are differnt, and like terms have same power exg x^2 and x^3 and x^1/2 and such

so first one

3b+11c-4c-c
since they are all c except for the first one term, just assign a number for each so it simplifies to c times(11-1)+b(3-4)=c(10-1b=10c-b or

you just use a general rule
x+x=2x
x^2+x^2=2x^2
3xy4xy=7xy
3x+4x^2=3x+4x^2

second one9a-1+8c-8a+c
group like terms
(9a-8a)+(8c+c)-1=(a)+(9c)-1=a+9c-1

12c+5a+7-13c+4a
group like terms(12c-13c)+(5a+4a)+7
add like terms
-c+9a+7
the solution is 9a-c+7

-15-6c+3b-6c+9-2b
group like terms
(-15+9)+(-6c-6c)+(3b-2b)
-6+(-12c)+b=b-6-12c

the answers are:

10c-b

a+9c-1

9a-c+7

b-12c-6

The number of marriage licenses issued by Clark County Nevada, the county where Las Vegas is located, has been
REY [17]

The number of marriage licenses were issued in 2003 is 21586.

According to the statement

we have to find the number of marriage licenses were issued in 2003

and the given equation is y=3.405x^2-17674x+21533000

And in this equation x represent the time

And Y represent the number of marriage certificate issued.

So, in given equation

y=3.405x^2-17674x+21533000

we fill the value of X and find the value of Y means tne number of marriage license is issued in 2003

We know that X = 3 from 2000 to 2003

Then put X=3 in the given equation.

Then

This is the equation (1) represent the change

y=3.405(3)^2-17674(3)+21533000 -(1)

y = 30.645+53022+21533000

y = 21586052.645

On nearest hundred the value becomes 21586.

So, The number of marriage licenses were issued in 2003 is 21586.

QUESTION:

According to the model, how many marriage licenses were issued in 2003? Round your answer to the nearest hundred.

The number of marriage licenses issued by Clark county Nevada, the county where Las Vegas is located, has been decreasing since the year 2000. This can be modeled by y=3.405x^2-17674x+21533000 where x is the year and y is the number of marriage licenses issued.

Solve each system of equations by graphing y=-1/2x+5 and y=3x-2
777dan777 [17]
Just make the equations equal to each other.  -0.5x+5=3x-2.  Solve for x and find that it is 2, via simple algebra.  Since you know x is 2, sub it in in either equation to find y.  y should be 4.  So the point that fits both equation is (2,4).  This shows that the two graphs of these lines will intersect at this exact point.

If you were to graph these two lines, you ould see that the point of intersection is at (2,4) like we solved for.

Solve for t. d=−16t^2 +4t
AleksAgata [21]

Answer:

C option is correct.

t = 8 +- √ 1− 4 d

Step-by-step explanation:

d=−16t^2 +4t

t= (1+ √ 1− 4 d) /  8

 t = (1 − √ 1 − 4 d  ) / 8
