The congruence theorem is ASA.If you look at the diagram, angle X and angle Z are both right angles, or 90 degrees. This means that these two angles are congruent. Then, segment SZ and segment SX have that line in them, which means that they are congruent. Finally, angle WSX and angle YSZ are vertical angles, meaning that they are also congruent. Since the segments SZ and SX are between the two congruent angles of the triangles, the theorem is ASA.

pedro is staying at a hotel whose location is a reflection across the x axis of the museum's location. What are the coordinates o
KengaRu [80]
The museum is at (2, -1 3/4). To find the reflection, the y-value of the point becomes the opposite sign , but the x-coordinate remains the same. In other words, the hotel is the same distance away from the x-axis as the museum, just in the opposite direction. This means that the hotel is at (2, 1 3/4)

Answer:

See below

Step-by-step explanation:

Mercury-2.3 cm The hundreths value isn't greater than 5, so the tenths stays the same.

Venus - 4.3 cm The hundreths value isn't greater than 5, so the tenths stays the same.

Earth-6 cm There is no hundreths value so the tenths stays the same.

Mars-9.1 cm The hundreths value isn't greater than 5, so the tenths stays the same.

Jupiter- 31.1 cm The hundreths value isn't greater than 5, so the tenths stays the same.

Saturn- 57.4 cm The hundreths value is greater than 5, so the tenths values is raised by 1.

Uranus-114.9 cm The hundreths value isn't greater than 5, so the tenths stays the same.

Neptune-179.8 cm There is no hundreths value so the tenths stays the same.

Simplify each of the following expressions: 3(x + 2) + 4(x − 2) 2(x + y) − 3(x + y) −(y + 8) + 4(6 − y) 2(4x + 3) − 3(x + 1)
Marrrta [24]

Answer:

7x-2, -x-6y+16, 5x-3

Step-by-step explanation:

I'm guessing the three expressions are:

1. 3(x+2) + 4(x-2)

2. 2(x+y) - 3(x+y) - (y+8) + 4(6-y)

3. 2(4x+3) - 3(x+1)

... 1. 3(x+2) + 4(x-2)

= 3x + 6 + 4x - 8

= 7x - 2

... 2. 2(x+y) - 3(x+y) - (y+8) + 4(6-y)

= 2x + 2y - 3x - 3y - y - 8 + 24 - 4y

= -x - 6y + 16

... 3. 2(4x+3) - 3(x+1)

= 8x + 6 - 3x - 3

= 5x - 3
