Answer:

Weight is a measure of force

Explanation:

In general force is defined as the mass multiplied by the acceleration as following:

F=m*a

For weight, the acceleration is the gravitational force:

W=m*g

It means the weight is the mass of the object multiplie by the gravitational force.

For example if we have an object with mass 10kg, the weight will be:

W=10kg*9.8\frac{m}{s^{2}}

W=98\frac{kg.m}{s^{2}}

The units for the weight are Newtons (N) that will be expressed as S.I units as

N=\frac{kg.m}{s^{2}}

So, the weight for the example, will be

W=98N

Sixty liters of a gas were collected over water when the barometer read 663 mmhg , and the temperature was 20∘c. what volume wou
lesya [120]
First, let's compute the number of moles in the system assuming ideal gas behavior.

PV = nRT
(663 mmHg)(1atm/760 mmHg)(60 L) = n(0.0821 L-atm/mol-K)(20+273 K)
Solving for n,
n = 2.176 moles

At standard conditions, the standard molar volume is 22.4 L/mol. Thus,

Standard volume = 22.4 L/mol * 2.176 mol =<em> 48.74 L</em>

Kia is doing an experiment in science lab. She is given a beaker containing 100 g of liquid. The beaker has markings on the side
Semmy [17]
Kia's remaining water has a mass of 50g. You can set it up as a proportion knowing that 100ml of water has a mass of 100g and thus 50ml of water would weight 50g

Define not matter and give examples
VLD [36.1K]

Answer:

Everything that has mass and takes up space is matter. Every day, you encounter phenomena that either don't have mass or don't take up space. They are non-matter. Basically, any type of energy or any abstract concept is an example of something that is not matter.

An apple.

A person.

A table.

Air.

Water.

A computer.

Paper.

Iron.

hope this helped you
