Answer:

a) 2 people

b) 20 people

Step-by-step explanation:

a) The social network contains four people networking with six other people, altogether there are ten people netwoking together.

So, if one person in one social network, network with five others in the network, but when it is paired, we have eight altogether in the first case.

When the other case are paired, it is discovered that,  the remaining pair is left with two people networking with three other people.

b) Altogether, when it is paired in each case, the following summation provides the number of people that network with each other:

First case = 1 + 5 + 2 = 8

Second case = 5 + 4 + 3 = 12

Altogether it is 20 people

A room is 12m 15m long and 8m 91 cm broad .The floor of the room is tobe paved with squared tiles find the lenght of the largest
Nat2105 [25]

Answer:

81 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of a room = 12m 15cm

Width of a room = 8 m 91 cm

12 m 15 cm = 1200 cm + 15 cm = 1215 cm

8 m 91 cm = 800 cm + 91 cm = 891 cm

The floor of the room is tobe paved with squared tiles. We need to find the length of the largest tile that can be used.

To find it we can find the HCF of 1215 cm and 891 cm.

Prime factorization of 1215 = 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 5

Prime factorization of 891 = 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 11

HCF = 3 x 3 x 3 x 3

= 81

Hence, the length of the largest tile that can be used is 81 cm.
