Y intercept - ( 0, 1 )
asymptote - y = 0
range - ( 0, ∞) , { y|y > 0 }
Since they have the same x-coordinate, you can just find the difference between the y-values.
7 - (-6) = 7 + 6 = 13
It'd be a little more complicted if they didn't have the same x or the same y cooridnates.
The answer is C) 30

3.4d + 3.4d = 12 + 6.5
6.8d = 18.5
d = 2.72 (this answer is rounded. To get the full answer, divide 18.5 by 6.8)
The original statement is true only if:
- England is a country and Africa isn't
- Africa is a country and England isn't
- Neither of them are countries
Options a and d are equivalent:
and they both are true in the same cases as above.
Option c is also fine, because it is false only if both England and Africa are both countries, just like the original statement.
Option b, instead, is true only if neither of the two options are countries, so it doesn't cover the cases where only one of the two is a country.
