It is a very simple question to answer.

Obviously first we can calculate his weekly earnings and then multiply them by 4 to calculate his total earnings over the course of 4 year period.

So as he makes 6.2$ an hour. He will make 6.2 * 30 = 186 $ a week as that is the number of hours he works in a week.

Now we can multiply this by 4 to calculate his over all earnings. So 186 * 4 = 744.

A wire with a length of 100 cm is cut into three parts. The length of wire of the first and second parts are the same. The lengt
dsp73

The first two pieces are the same, let each of those equal x, so you have x + x = 2x

The 3rd piece is the sum of the first two + 4, so this would be 2x + 4

Now you have 2x + 2x + 4 = 100 cm

Combine like terms:

4x +4 = 100

Subtract 4 from both sides

4x = 96

Divide both sides by 4

X = 24

First piece is 24 cm

Second piece is 24 cm

Third piece is 52 cm

Rayshawn has a certain amount of money if he spends $20 then he has 1/3 of the original amount how much money did Rayshawn have
erik [133]

Answer:

Rayshawn originally had $30.

Step-by-step explanation:

i) Rayshawn has a certain amount of money. Let us say this amount is $x.

ii) Rayshawn spends $20 which means that he is left with $(x - 20)

iii) it is also given that amount of money left after spending $20 is \dfrac{1}{3} of the original amount, $x, the amount remaining is \dfrac{\$x}{3}.

iv) from the information given in ii) and iii) we get

     $(x - 20) = \dfrac{\$x}{3},  Therefore we get 3x - 60 = x , therefore 2x = 60,

  Therefore x = $30. Rayshawn originally had $30.
