The number of customers who visit the store each hour on a Saturday are 15, 23, 12, 28, 20, 18, and 23.Arranging the numbers in ascending order we have:12,15,18,20,23,23,28.he Median is the "middle" of a sorted list of numbers.

The median of the  data is the middle number that is 20. We need to find number of customers who  visited the store during the eighth hour so that  the median number of customers per hour do not change .If we add the eighth number the median will be the average of the fourth and fifth number.To keep the median 20 we add 20 digit as the eight number so that the middle numbers are 20 and 20 andthe average of these numbers will be 20 making median 20.

The numbers thus will be 12,15,18,20,20,23,23,28 .Median = (20+20)÷2=20.

First we need to find the median of the data given. To do that, it should be in order:
12, 15, 18, 20, 23, 23, 28
So the median is 20

The only way to guarantee that the median doesn't change would be for the eight hour to have 20 visitors so the new data would be:
12, 15, 18, 20, 20, 23, 23, 28

Hope this helps!

Step-by-step explanation:

use Pythagoras Theorem

length BD= 16²+10²= 356

√356= 18.9 cm

length DH= 30²-18.9²= 542.8

√542.8= 23.3 cm

DH=AE

Hence, AE= 23.3 cm
