Hello!

Slope-intercept form uses the following formula:

y = mx + b

In this case, "m" represents the slope while "b" represents the y-intercept. The given equation, however, does not contain both variable X and Y. It simply states (x = 4). Consequently, this equation does not have a y-intercept. It gives only the x-value, which is always equal to 4. Therefore, it can be concluded that the line representing (x = 4) is a vertical line intercepting the x-axis at point (4,0).

Vertical lines do not have a slope and are considered to be undefined.

I hope this helps!

A dolphin can swim up to 40 miles per hour.what is the speed in feet per hour?
zalisa [80]
In this question, the speed of the dolphin is already given, but the unit is different. The speed of the dolphin is given as 40 miles per hour and it has to be converted to feet per hour.
We already know that 1 mile = 5280 feet
Then
40 mile = 5280 * 40 feet
            = 211200 feet
So the speed in feet per hour will be 211200 feet per hour. I hope the procedure is clear enough for you to understand. You can always use this method for solving similar problems without requiring any help from outside.

What is the slope of the line?<br> 3x-4y=7
Vinvika [58]

Answer:

3/4

Step-by-step explanation:

3x - 4y = 7.....subtract 3x from both sides

-4y = -3x + 7 ...now we divide both sides by -4

(-4/-4)y = (-3/-4)x + (-7/4)...simplify

y = 3/4x - 7/4

y = mx + b

y = 3/4x - 7/4.....so the number in the m position is 3/4 <== ur slope

You are interested in the relationship between leisure activities and mood. One group of participants watches at least 2 hours o
Romashka [77]

Answer:

The most appropriate statistical test to use to compare the mood scores from the different groups is independent sample t-test.

Step-by-step explanation:

The Independent Samples t-test examines the means of two independent groups to see if statistical evidence exists to show that the related population means differ significantly.

The Independent Samples t-test is also known as Independent t-test, Independent Two-sample t-test, and among others.

It should be note that only two (and only two) groups can be compared using the Independent Samples t-test. It is not possible to use it to make comparisons between more than two groups.

Therefore, the most appropriate statistical test to use to compare the mood scores from the different groups is independent sample t-test.
