A 0.5 mol sample of he(g) of ne(g) are placed separately in two 10.0 l rigid containers at 25°c. each container has a pinhole op

The movement of gases through pinhole is called effusion and the effusion rate indirectly proportional to the molar mass of gas

The lighter mass gas effuses faster than the heavier one
so He(g) will escapes faster and it will move with higher average speed because it has less mass than Ne(g)

A chemist prepares a solution of magnesium fluoride MgF2 by measuring out 0.0113μmol of magnesium fluoride into a 450.mL volumet
qaws [65]

Answer:

2.51x10⁻⁵ mmol MgF2/L

Explanation:

To find the concentration in mmol / L we need to convert μmol to mmol (1000μmol / 1mmol) and mL to Liters (1000mL / 1L) as follows:

μmol MgF2:

0.0113μmol MgF2 * (1mmol / 1000μmol) = 1.13x10⁻⁵ mmol MgF2

Liters solution:

450mL * (1L / 1000mL) = 0.450L

Concentration in mmol/L:

1.13x10⁻⁵ mmol MgF2 / 0.450L =

2.51x10⁻⁵ mmol MgF2/L

3. (10 Points) You buy a helium balloon of 14 Liters for your friend's birthday and
vesna_86 [32]

Answer: picture shows work for # 1,2,4,5,7

Explanation:

number 3: as the pressure in the volume decreases, the volume increases causing it to expand and eventually blow.

number 6: because the temperature and the amount of gas don’t change, these terms don’t appear in the equation. What Boyle’s law means is that the volume of a mass of gas is inversely proportional to its pressure. This linear relationship between pressure and volume means doubling the volume of a given mass of gas decreases its pressure by half.

hope this helps :))

Can someone me Help please
soldier1979 [14.2K]

Independent would be the amount of sugar given and the dependent would be the amount of cavities

Scientists have control groups so they can have evidence to show the difference between that one and the experimental ones.

And the independent variable is the one that changes because with out it changing you wouldn't get different results.

I could be wrong tho sorryyy! but i hope this helps
