Answer:

I think it's 60.5 because

the ratio in which the sweets are distributed are 7:2:2. total number of portions are 7 + 2 + 2 = 11. we are told that kruthika has 45 more sweets than mark. if we take the ratio of mark to kruthika its 7:2. kruthika has 5 portions more than mark. 5 portions are equivalent to 45 sweets. Therefore 1 portion is equal to 5.5 sweets. altogether they have 11 portions, therefore total number of sweets are 11 x 5.5 sweets = 60.5 sweets.

Hope this helps you!!!!!!!!!!

Find the coordinates of the vertex and the equation of the axis of symmetry for the parabola with the given equation.
ZanzabumX [31]

Answer:

The vertex is at ( 3.5, -0.25)

and the axis of symmetry is x = 3.5.

Step-by-step explanation:

Convert to vertex form:

y = x^2 - 7x + 12

y = (x - 3.5)^2 - 3.5^2 + 12

y = (x - 3.5)^2 - 0.25

y = (x - 3.5)^2 - 0.25.

So the vertex is at ( 3.5, -0.25)

and

the axis of symmetry is x = 3.5.

The birth weights of the 908 babies born at Valley Hospital in 2019 were normally
photoshop1234 [79]

The number of babies that weighed more than 10 pounds is 43 using Z-

Score Table.

What is normal distribution?

A probability distribution that is symmetric about the mean is the normal distribution, sometimes referred to as the Gaussian distribution. It demonstrates that data that are close to the mean occur more frequently than data that are far from the mean. The normal distribution is depicted graphically as a "bell curve."

Given that total number of babies is 908.

The mean of the normal distribution is 7.2 pound.

The standard deviation of the normal distribution is 1.5 pound.

The formula of z score is z = (x - μ)/σ

In the given question x = 10, μ = 1.5, σ = 7.2

z score = (10 - 7.2)/1.5 = 1.86667

P-value from Z-Table:

P(x<10) = 0.96903

P(x>10) = 1 - P(x<10) = 0.030974

The number of babies that weighed more than 10 pounds is ( 0.030974 × 908) = 43.39 = 43 (approx.)
