Answer:

3 specific tissue types predominant in the heart are -Cardiac muscle , Nervous tissue , Connective tissue .

Explanation:

1. Cardiac muscle - They help in pumping blood to circulation. When they contract the blood is forced out into systemic and pulmonary circulation.

2. Nervous tissue - they help in regulation of heart function. They generate, coordinate and conduct electrical impulse that regulate heart contraction

3. Connective tissue - blood vessels and pericardium. The pericardium surrounds heart and has pericardial fluid that acts as shock absorber and thus prevent damage to heart. The blood vessels i.e. coronary artery and veins supply blood to muscles of heart.

after completing assessment rounds, which client should the nurse discuss with the health care provider (hcp) first?
rusak2 [61]

A patient who was brought in from the emergency room last evening after suffering a head injury is currently throwing up and disoriented.

<h3>What is a health care provider (HCP )?</h3>

A client who has experienced head trauma should be reported right away to the HCP and further assessed.

A dime-sized area is not immediately important, but the nurse should mark a circle around the amount of drainage on a dressing after surgery.

Therefore, it may be watched and reported to the HCP if it rises in size, after surgery, stomach pain and constipation need care but are not a top concern.

Answer:

The isotype of these antibodies is igG

Explanation:

Anti-Rh response are employed by medical practitioners to define the Rh antigenic profile of human blood samples.

Fetal red blood cells are necessary for increasing the production of antibodies against Rh- antigens in Rh- women who are carrying a Rh+ fetus. The isotopes of the required antibodies is IgG.

The igG antibodies have high level of affinity and are present in blood, where they can make toxins, viruses, and bacteria ineffective, and activate the complement system.

In liver, glucagon stimulates glycogen breakdown via cAMP. Although you might expect glucagon to stimulate catabolism of the glu
Lerok [7]

Answer:

c. The function of glucagon is to increase blood glucose concentration. All mentioned processes are consistent with this function.

Explanation:

Glucagon is the enzymes synthesized and released by alpha cells of endocrine pancreas in association with food. Glucagon causes an increase in blood glucose levels and it does so by :

1) Inhibiting the process of glycolysis so that the glucose is used less.

2) Stimulating the breakdown of glycogen to increase the glucose concentration in the blood.

3) Stimulating gluconeogenesis in the liver thus increasing the synthesis of glucose in liver.

All these processes directly increase the level (concentration) of glucose in blood.

Hence option  C) The function of glucagon is to increase blood glucose concentration. All mentioned processes are consistent with this function is true
