When one changes the significance level of a hypothesis test from 0.01 to 0.05, which of the following will happen? Check all th

at apply. A. It becomes easier to prove that the null hypothesis is true. B. The chance of committing a Type I error changes from 0.01 to 0.05. C. It becomes harder to prove that the null hypothesis is true. D. The test becomes more stringent to reject the null hypothesis (i.e. it becomes harder to reject the null hypothesis). E. The test becomes less stringent to reject the null hypothesis (i.e., it becomes easier to reject the null hypothesis). F. The chance of committing a Type II error changes from 0.01 to 0.05. G. Answer:

B) The chance of committing a Type I error changes from 0.01 to 0.05., E) The test becomes less stringent to reject the null hypothesis (i.e., it becomes easier to reject the null hypothesis), therefore. C) It becomes harder to prove that the null hypothesis is true and G) The chance that the null hypothesis is true changes from 0.01 to 0.05 are all correct answers

Explanation:

The alfa error or type I, refers to the probability error of rejecting the null hypothesis, when it is true, it is the chance of mistake when affirming that an association exists between two variables tested as a cause of an effect on something. i.e: H1: fast food is responsible for diabetes (this is working hypothesis), H0: red hair is responsible for diabetes (this is the null hypothesis). The beta error or type II is related to the size of the sample, it is the chance of accepting something (the null hypothesis) when it is false, depends mostly on having enough measures (or persons under study) so your hypothesis can be proven and be a real representation of the population under study. The statistical significance, namely the p value, can be narrow (p=0.01) or wide (p=0.05), it can be easily understand if we explain it in terms of percentage: you can have 99% (p=0.01) of certainty to affirm that the null hypothesis (the one that you do not believe is true, in the example, red hair as cause of diabetes) is actually wrong or 95% (p=0.05) of certainty to affirm that the null hypothesis (again, the one that you do not believe is true) is actually wrong.

Take a closer look at some of the operational norms of the Supreme Court, such as the Rule of Four or the prohibition on cameras
Elanso [62]

Answer:

Explanation:

According to Wikipedia, ***"The rule of four is not required by the Constitution, any law, or even the Supreme Court's own published rules. Rather, it is a custom that has been observed since the Court was given discretion over which appeals to hear by the Judiciary Act of 1891It is a working rule devised by the Court as a practical mode of determining that a case is deserving of review, the theory being that if four Justices find that a legal question of general importance is raised, that is ample proof that the question has such importance. This is a fair enough rule of thumb on the assumption that four Justices find such importance on an individualized screening of the cases sought to be reviewed."***

Rhis modus operandi helps to streamline the quality and amount of appeal that is granted Certiorari by ensuring that only very important question is given consideration.

This would hence discard those questions, scenarios or appeals that does not win the vote of the four justices.

Hence it is a not so favorable procedure to the minority masses holding a claim that seems trivial in the surface.

But this procedure should remain.

And also, camera's should not be prohibited in the court room. This helps to test for objectivity.

Serjik [45]

Answer:

society.

Explanation:

The evolutionary theory of Charles Darwin inspired many sociologist to suggest that society is itself an organism which evolves from a primitive stage to a modern one. L.H Morgan suggests three stages of evolution which are savagery, barbarism, and civilization by which society moves from simple to more complex form. British sociologist Herbert Spencer applied Darwin's theory of survival of the fittest to society and according to him western societies are better adaptive to the changing times and therefore they are surviving and evolving.

According to John 3:16, one must believe in Jesus in order to have eternal life in God's presence in heaven. Briefly share what
ASHA 777 [7]

Jesus was a man who, according to the various books of the Bible, was the son of God. They speak of their passage through the world as an act of God´s redemption for the world, since sin had generated a state of crisis that could even destroy the social foundations, and this problem could not be solved even by the rulers of the epoch.

Even personally I do not believe in Jesus, the simple fact Christianity is a religion which allows the people to do the correct and help the others is so respectable.
