The correct answer is D) hiding exculpatory evidence.

An abuse of authority that is not part of the typologies elucidated by Baker and Carter is hiding exculpatory evidence.

In 1985, David Carter came up with what is considered the best definition of police abuse of authority. And is “any action by a police officer without regard to motive, intent, or malice that tends to injure, insult or trade on human dignity…” Carter and Baker believe that the abuse of authority by the police abuse can be broken into three areas. Physical abuse, psychological abuse, and legal abuse. But the abuse of authority that is not part of the typologies elucidated by Baker and Carter is hiding exculpatory evidence.

The other options of the question were, a) professional courtesy, b) retaliatory brutality, and c) perjury.

Pavlova-9 [17]

Men's and women's brains are remarkably similar, yet they also exhibit consistent distinctions that have significant effects on each sex.

In other words, brain sex differences specifically affect biochemical processes, may raise the risk of contracting particular diseases and may have an impact on particular behaviors. The biological variations must never be used as an excuse for prejudice or sexism. However, we think that a thorough comprehension of these variations can help researchers and doctors better address significant problems.

Two examples include how variances in brain development can result in differences in cognition and behavior and how genetic sex might cause differences between men and women in the etiology and progression of the disease.

Development of politics in your country.
mafiozo [28]

Answer:

Explanation:

Students of political systems grapple with a subject matter that is today in constant flux. They must deal not only with the major processes of growth, decay, and breakdown but also with a ceaseless ferment of adaptation and adjustment. The magnitude and variety of the changes that occurred in the world’s political systems beginning in the early 20th century suggest the dimensions of the problem. Great empires disintegrated; nation-states emerged, flourished briefly, and then vanished; world wars twice transformed the international system; new ideologies swept the world and shook established groups from power; all but a few countries experienced at least one revolution and many countries two or more; domestic politics in every system were contorted by social strife and economic crisis; and everywhere the nature of political life was changed by novel forms of political activity, new means of mass communication, the enlargement of popular participation in politics, the rise of new political issues, the extension of the scope of governmental activity, the threat of nuclear war, and innumerable other social, economic, and technical developments.

hope it helps :)

bonufazy [111]
Edgar Allan Poe’s short Horror story named The Pit and the Pendulum begins with the narrator being condemned to death. In the first paragraph, the one who pass verdict on him have the inquisitorial voice and are black robed judges. While in Paragraph 5, the narrator has come to his intellects sufficient to start reflecting upon his situation. He then references the two words again but it is not until paragraph 12 when he used the word ‘inquisition’. When the narrator refers to his abductors, he calls them inquisitorial judges/agents.
