Q3. (a) 0m/s, as they are asking for initial velocit.
(b)(i) The paper has a large surface area or weighs less than the coin,thus,falls smoothly.
(ii)The coin has more mass than the paper.
(c) They fall at the same acceleration and hit the bottom at the same time.
Their mass doesn't matter in the vacuum.

A planet orbits a sun in a clockwise elliptical orbit as shown in the diagram below
STatiana [176]

Answer:

Greatest gravitational energy is at "C".

The planet has to do work "against" the field to get to "C".

Also, if m v R (angular momentum) is constant then as R increases v must decrease for this term to be constant and KE = 1/2 M v^2  must decrease also to get to point C.

An object dropped from rest from the top of a tall building on planet x falls a distance d(t)18 left parenthesis t right parenth
melamori03 [73]

displacement is given by equation

d = 18t^2

now at t = 5 s the position is

d_1 = 18 *5^2 = 450 m

similarly position at t = 9 s

d_2 = 18*9^2 = 1458 m

so the displacement of object in given interval of time will be

d = 1458 - 450 = 1008 m

time interval

\delta t = 9 - 5 = 4 s

now the average velocity will be given as

v = \frac{\delta x}{\delta t}

v = \frac{1008}{4} = 252 m/s

so its average speed is 252 m/s

An 89 kg man drops from rest on a diving board −3.1 m above the surface of the water and comes to rest 0.5 s after reaching the
OLga [1]

To solve this problem we will use the linear motion kinematic equations, for which the change of speed squared with the acceleration and the change of position. The acceleration in this case will be the same given by gravity, so our values would be given as,

m= 89 kg\\x = 3.1 m\\t = 0.5s\\a = g = 9.8m/s^2

Through the aforementioned formula we will have to

v_f^2-v_i^2 = 2ax

The particulate part of the rest, so the final speed would be

v_f^2 = 2gx

v_f=\sqrt{2(9.8)(3.1)}

v_f = 7.79m/s

Now from Newton's second law we know that

F = ma

Here,

m = mass

a = acceleration, which can also be written as a function of velocity and time, then

F = m\frac{dv}{dt}

Replacing we have that,

F = (89)\frac{7.79}{0.5}

F = 1386.62N

Therefore the force that the water exert on the man is 1386.62

Learning Task 1: Define or describe the following words relat are not familiar with the word, you may ask assistance from y your
Tems11 [23]

Answer:

1.) TABLE = The table is 2.74 m (9.0 ft) long, 1.525 m (5.0 ft) wide, and 76 cm (2.5 ft) high with any continuous material so long as the table yields a uniform bounce of about 23 cm (9.1 in) when a standard ball is dropped onto it from a height of 30 cm (11.8 in), or about 77%.

2.) TENNIS = Tennis is a racket sport that can be played individually against a single opponent (singles) or between two teams of two players each (doubles). Each player uses a tennis racket that is strung with cord to strike a hollow rubber ball covered with felt over or around a net and into the opponent's court.

3.) PING-PONG = Table tennis, also known as ping-pong and whiff-whaff, is a sport in which two or four players hit a lightweight ball, also known as the ping-pong ball, back and forth across a table using small rackets. ... Spinning the ball alters its trajectory and limits an opponent's options, giving the hitter a great advantage.

4.) NET = This is stretched across the centter of the table by a cord attached to a post at either end. It measures 6ft long and the ball must pass over it for a rally to continue.

5.) BALL = The ball, which is spherical and hollow, was once made of white celluloid. Since 1969 a plastic similar to celluloid has been used. The ball, which may be coloured white, yellow, or orange, weighs about 0.09 ounce (2.7 grams) and has a diameter of about 1.6 inches (4 cm).

6.) RACKET = A table tennis racket is made up of two distinct parts - a wooden blade which incorporates the handle together with table tennis rubbers affixed to each side of the blade using water-based glue.

When making sweet tea, McDonalds adds the sugar while the tea is hot. The sugar is added at this step so that the tea can be as
Lilit [14]

Answer:

d

Explanation:

we need the tea to be at first moist in order to get much more flavor. then supersaturated so that it increases the concentration of the flavor by it not being too sweet nor too salty. so just right.
