The net income will increase by 16,000 ,the dividends will increase by 7,200 and 8,800 increase in equity

Explanation:

Increase in sale for 200,000 (1,710,000-1,510,000)

Now, we calculate the increase in the net income

200,000 x 8% = 16,000 increase on net income

And now the increase in dividends

16,000 x 45% dividends payout ratio = 7,200 increase in dividends

With this we can relate to how much the retained earnings will grow based on this increase on sales:

16,000 - 7,200 = 8,800 increase in equity

A company inserts winning prize tickets into 10,000,000 of its products. 1 of the tickets is a large cash prize, 1,600,000 are s
netineya [11]

Answer: Large Cash Prize is A. 0000001

Small Cash Prizes is B. 0.16

Free Samples is C. About 0.84

Explanation:

Large Cash Price

The probability of winning 1 large Cash price is 1 out of 10 million so that would be,

= 1/10,000,000

= 0.0000001 which is option A

Small Cash Prices

Probability of winning a Mall Cash price is 1,600,000 out of 10,000,000 which would be,

= 1,600,000/10,000,000

= 0.16 which is Option B

Free Samples

Winning free samples of the Company's products would be,

= 10,000,000 - 1,600,000 - 1

= 8,399,999

Now we divide by 10,000,000

= 8399999/10,000,000

= 0.83999

= 0.84 so option C

A man has $245,000 invested in three properties. One earns 12%, one 10% and one 8%. His annual income from the properties is $23
astraxan [27]

Answer:

for 8% investment = $110000

for 12% investment = $55000

for 10% investment =  $80000

annual income for each property is

x amount for 8% investment = $8800

y amount for 12% investment = $6600

z amount for 10% investment = $8000

Explanation:

Given data

investment = $245000

rate 1 = 12%

rate 2 = 10%

rate 3 = 8%

annual income = $23400

rate = 8%  twice that invested at 12%

to find out

invested in each property and  the annual income from each property

solution

let us consider x amount for 8% investment

and consider y amount for 12% investment

and consider z amount for 10% investment

from question we say,  8% is twice that invested at 12%

x = 2y      ........1

and

x + y + z = 245000      .............2

put 1 in equation 2

2y + y + z = 245000

z = 245000 - 3y            ...................3

and we can say that

0.08x + 0.12y + 0.10z = 23400              ...........................4

put equation 1 and 3 in 4

0.08(2y) + 0.12y + 0.10( 245000 - 3y ) = 23400

0.16y + 0.12y - 0.3y = -1100

0.02y = 1100

y = $55000

so x = 2(y) = 2(5500) = $110000

and z = 245000 - 3(55000) = $80000

so annual income for each property is

x amount for 8% investment = 0.08 × 110000 = $8800

y amount for 12% investment = 0.12 × 55000 = $6600

z amount for 10% investment = 0.10 × 80000 = $8000

Salsk061 [2.6K]

Answer:

The yearly depreciation on the asset is $56,111.11

Explanation:

In calculating the right-of-use asset on a lease,the present of value of future cash payments,that is lease liability amount is added to any lease payments paid on or before commencement of lease agreement,direct initial costs,as well as with any likely amount to be incurred in restoring asset's site or dismantling the asset after usage.

In this case,only present value of future cash flows is available,hence that is the amount of right-of-use to depreciated over nine year period.

Depreciation=$505000/9years
