Christine crawled:
3 ft* (3/4)= 2.25 ft.

3 ft+ 2.25 ft= 5.25 ft

We already know that 1 ft= 12 in.

5.25 ft* (12in/ 1 ft)= 63 in.

The total distance the two children crawled together is 63 in~

A three-digit lottery ticket using the numbers 0 to 9 has how many possible combinations?
igor_vitrenko [27]

Answer:

720

Step-by-step explanation:

If order mattered, we would say select the first number (10 choices), then the second (9 choices) then the third (8 choices). So there would be 10 x 9 x 8 = 720 possible choices.

The expression d/t can be used to find the average speed of an object that travel a distance d in time t. What is sc cars averag
Firlakuza [10]
You just divide the distance travelled by the time like so: 145mi/2.5h and get 58mph. You can convert the 145mi into meters and 2.5h into seconds (145mi is approximately 233345m; 2.5h is 9000 seconds) and get an approximate speed of 26m/s if you want to convert to SI units.

Why does a logarithmic equation sometimes have an extraneous solution?
jonny [76]

The main reason behind this is using properties of logarithm .

like

when solving

  • log_2(x+2)+log_2(x-3)=3

There you use multiplication property and make addition to multiplication then you get extraneous solution because in plenty of cases they occur

like

  • (-2)²=(2)²

But

  • -2≠2

Same happens in case of logarithm
