Discuss the relationship between mitosis and cytokinesis. what would be the result if one happened without the other ?
DENIUS [597]
If mitosis occurred without cytokinesis, the cell would contain two nuclei and twice the DNA. If cytokinesis occurred without mitosis , one of the new cells would lack DNA and a nucleus altogether. The cell cycle is regulated by signals both inside and outside of the cell.

After glycolysis occurs, the products may enter the Krebs cycle. Which major products result from these reactions?
ivolga24 [154]

The third option from top is the answer. The major products that result from the Krebs cycle are NADH,  FADH and ATP in that order.

The Krebs cycle is the central metabolic pathway in all aerobic organisms. The cycle is a series of eight reactions that occur in the mitochondrion. These reactions take a two carbon molecule called acetate and completely oxidize it to carbon dioxide.

The Krebs cycle serves two main purposes namely:

1.To increase the cell's ATP producing potential by generating  reduced electron carriers such as NADH and reduced ubiquinone.

2. To provide the cell with a variety of metabolic precursors.

By the time the eight reactions in Krebs cycle are over, one ATP, one FADH and four NADH molecules will have been produced
