Answer: A is the best answer.

Explanation: Muscles are the tissues made up of actin and myosin proteins that helps in movement while fats make up the adipose tissue and stored fats will eventually utilize in the expenditure of energy during starvation. So these two are different and cannot be convertible in to one another. Same Calories taken in physical inactivity as in exercise leads to the loss of  muscle's mass or strength results in shrinking of muscular tissues and excess calories will be stored as body fats in adipose tissue.

Study the following food chain : grass>rabbits>snakes>hawks. From this chain, you can correctly assume that each populat
masha68 [24]
The answer is D, for when one tropic level is eaten by the tropic level above it, the tropic level is supporting the higher one. I. E. Rabbits are supported by the grass because rabbits eat the grass. Also, the grass population would be larger than rabbits, the rabbits larger than snakes, so on and so forth, so B is ruled out. B states that each population is larger than the one BEFORE it, but there is no way there would be more rabbits than grass. Also, there are both herbivores and carnivores in the food chain, so A and C are out. The best answer is D.

Which of the following is an example of statistical interference?
kaheart [24]

Answer:

D). Selecting a representation of a population and translating it to a larger group.

Explanation:

Statistical inference is described as the method of employing data analysis to draw conclusions about the characteristics/properties of a population on the basis of a casual sample collected from the population. Such a method is primarily employed to learn the characteristics of a large population size.

As per the question, <u>'selecting a representation of a population and translating it to a larger group' would exemplify statistical inference as a sample is collected as a representation of the population for learning the characteristics and applying it to the entire group</u>. Thus, <u>option D</u> is the correct answer.
