Homogeneous mixture is a mixture in which the composition is uniform throughout the mixture. While, heterogeneous mixture is a mixture in which the composition is not uniform throughout the mixture.
Example of heterogeneous :
Oil and water
Smog

Example of homogeneous:
Salt water
