Answer:

Greece's geography impacted the social, political, and economic patterns in a variety of ways, such as that its mountains prevented the complete unification, that led to the establishment of the city-states near the sea, which led to a reliance on naval powers, hindered overland trade, and encouraged maritime trade around the Mediterranean, which led to the influence of other Mediterranean cultures on Greek society.

How might the Union's lack of strong military leadership and the
Alex_Xolod [135]

The Union's goal entering the Civil War was not to abolish slavery. It was to get the Confederacy to secede and rejoin the Union. With this, the president at the time, Abraham Lincoln was a Free-Soiler, and his election was one of the contributors to the war. After the Mexican-American war, many leading army generals went to the side of the confederacy leaving the Union lacking in terms of military leadership. The abolition of slavery came as an afterthought to punish the confederacy from separating from the Union.

The Confederacy separated from the Union, and with it the centralized government that was holding the country together. This ultimately weakened the Confederacy because there was a lack of leadership, and political unity. This weakened not only their efforts to be their own country, but also their ability to fight during the Civil War. This lack of unity is likely what led to their ultimate loss.

Think about what Washington said about political factions and alliances with other countries. Should they be encouraged or avoid
AysviL [449]

I would say this is a very interesting question lets discuss the benefits and drawbacks. Ok so he said a nation not united would fall. And it did during the american civil war. I would say being a strong nation you should encourage trade. For that making economic alliances is good. It boosts your economy and adds plenty of goods to. But they should be avoided if the country is divided like america was. Having the strongest economy is the key to being the strongest nation.

Aleonysh [2.5K]

Answer:

C

Explanation:

Comment

Using the American Constitution as an example, you never want D.

A looks like it is possible, but think of the mess it would create if every little thing like speed limits had to voted on by the general population. I wouldn't           choose A.

My answer would be between B and C. Of the two, individual rights are what is needed. B is also true.  Of the two choices, I think C is the more important.
