Plugging in the above formula,
➝ m = -4 - 5 / -6 - 6
➝ m = -9 / -12
➝ m = 3/4
Now finding the y-intercept
➝ y = mx + b
And if we put in the values from our first point (6, 5) we get
➝ 5 = 3/4 (6) + b
➝ 5 = 9/2 + b
➝ b = 5 - 9/2
➝ b = 1/2
Required equation of the line:
➝ y = 3/4x + 1/2
