1. T-PA is a medicine that is used to bust a clot. It's the break of a clot for a stroke victim.

2. The mode of action for an ischemic stroke is that when a blood clot blocks blood flow to part of the brain. Ischemic means that there's a blockage causing no oxygen to that part of the area thereby causing necrosis to the tissue.
