Using complete sentences, create your own scenario involving the United States' national debt with any two decades listed in the table. The scenario should include multiplication or division between the numbers in scientific notation. Answer:

x = 15

Step-by-step explanation:

FD and AC are parallel because both are perpendicular to EB. Angle EDF and Angle DCA are congruent because they are corresponding angles. The measure of Angle DCA is also 3x because congruent angles have the same measure.

Now consider Triangle ACD. Because the sum of all three measures of the angles in a triangle add up to 180°.

x + 8x + 3x = 180°

12x = 180°

12x/12 = 180/12

x = 15

How to do transformations
photoshop1234 [79]
If it is a Reflection you use-
X-axis: (x,-y)
y-axis: (-x, y)
y=x: (y, x)
y=-x: (-y, -x)
Rotations:
90 degree clockwise/ 270 degree counterclockwise is (y, -x)
180 degree is (-x, -y)
270 degree clockwise/ 90 degree counterclockwise is (-y, x)
Dilations are when it is multiplied by a number. So lets say your operation is dilated by 2. It will be (2x, 2y).
Last but not least is Translations. This is when it is added or subtracted to your operation. This means it goes up or down and left or right on your graph. Left and right are X, up and down are Y. Lets say we want to go up 2 and left 3. It will be (x-3, y+2).

Does the function satisfy the hypotheses of the Mean Value Theorem on the given interval? f(x) = e−5x, [0, 3] Yes, f is continuo
Anni [7]

Yes, and the first choice's reasoning is the only correct one.

The MVT guarantees the existence of at least one c\in(0,3) such that

f'(c)=\dfrac{f(3)-f(0)}{3-0}

We have f'(x)=-5e^{-5x}, so that

-5e^{-5c}=\dfrac{e^{-15}-1}3\implies c=-\dfrac15\ln\dfrac{1-e^{-15}}{15}
