Electric force is given by:
F = (kQ₁Q₂)/r²
where k is Coloumb's constant of value 9 x 10⁹, Q₁ and Q₂ are charges and r is the separation between them.
Let the charge of the nucleus be located at its center.
The separation of the proton is equal to:
Radius of nucleus + distance from surface
= 3 + 1.8
= 4.8 fm
Charge of Nucleus = 54e
Charge of proton = e
F = (9 x 10⁹ x 54 x 1.60 x 10⁻¹⁹ x 1.60 x 10⁻¹⁹)/(4.8 x 10⁻¹⁵)²
F = 540 N

Part 3)
The mass of the proton = 1.67 x 10⁻²⁹ kg
acceleration = 540/1.67 x 10⁻²⁹
= 3.20 x 10³¹ m/s²

Five drops of 1.0M NaOH increase the pH of a solution from 3.0 to 4.6. Five additional drops of 1.0M NaOH increase the pH to 4.7
Andrej [43]
The solution is buffered with a weak acid and it's conjugate base. Since NaOH is a base, you can use a weak acid as it's buffer.

*Will give Brainliest* What is the average atomic mass of one molecule of methane, which has one 12C atom and four 1H atoms?
Nesterboy [21]

Answer:

The atomic mass of methane (CH4)is 12 amu for the carbon plus 4 x 1 amu for the four hydrogens, for a total of 16 amu. Therefore, the molar mass of methane is 16g.

A solution that contains the maximum amount of solute that is soluble at a given temperature is said to be —
solniwko [45]

Answer: Saturated

A solution that contains the maximum amount of solute that is soluble at a given temperature is said to be saturated.

Explanation:

A Saturated solution is one that contains as much (i.e maximum) solute as it can dissolve at that temperature in the presence of undissolved solute particles.

For instance: if a given volume of water can only dissolve a certain amount of salt in it at room temperature, then, more salt added will not dissolve.

Thus, making the solution saturated.
