When Mendel crossed true-breeding pea plants that have inflated pods (PP) with those that have constricted pods (pp), it was obs

So the question is all about breeding two inflated pods. So the best answer would be this one:
F1 has Pp genotype. It is heterozygous. If you have a dominant allele, you will get the 'dominant' phenotype no matter what you have on the other allele. Usually people use upper case letter as dominant allele and lower case letter as recessive allele. So, in this case P is inflated and p is constricted. The F1 phenotype is inflated pods.

How does the cardiovascular system deliver nutrients and oxygen to all cells in the body via the flow of blood? Select all corre
Alex

Answer:

1: (The arteries carry blood away from the heart; the veins carry it back to the heart.)

2: (In the systemic circulation, the left ventricle pumps oxygen-rich blood into the aorta.)

4: (Blood, which is low in oxygen, is collected in veins and travels to the right atrium and into the right ventricle.)

Explanation:

The blood circulatory system (cardiovascular system) delivers nutrients and oxygen to all cells in the body. It consists of the heart and the blood vessels running through the entire body. ... In the systemic circulation, the left ventricle pumps oxygen-rich blood into the main artery (aorta).

The arteries carry blood away from the heart; the veins carry it back to the heart. ... The blood travels from the main artery to larger and smaller arteries and into the capillary network. There the blood drops off oxygen, nutrients and other important substances and picks up carbon dioxide and waste products.

The inferior and superior vena cava bring oxygen-poor blood from the body into the right atrium. The pulmonary artery channels oxygen-poor blood from the right ventricle into the lungs, where oxygen enters the bloodstream. The pulmonary veins bring oxygen-rich blood to the left atrium.

Number the following steps in the correct order and tell which stage it occurs in:
Sedaia [141]

Answer:

The correct answer is given below:

Explanation:

1. A cleavage furrow or cell plate forms, separating the nuclei - Cytokinesis.  During cell division, after division of nucleus, cytoplasm divides by furrow in an animal cells and by cell plate formation in the plant cells.

2. Chromosomes line up at the equator and chromatids are attached to spindle fibres—Metaphase. During metaphase all the chromosomes get arranged on the equatorial plane or the central plane

3. Nuclear membrane and nucleolus reappear- Telophase. The nuclear membrane starts to form around each of the daughter chromosomes and nucleolus also reappears in the daughter nuclei.

4. Genetic material replicates and is joined at the centromere- S-phase of the interphase. Duplication or copying of the DNA occurs in this phase

5. Centromeres divide and single-stranded chromosomes move to the poles- Anaphase.  During anaphase, the sister chromatids of each chromosome gets separated and move to the opposite poles.
