Authoritative- Mike and Carol Brady (“The Brady Bunch,” 1969-1974): These parents demonstrate a give-and-take with their parenting style, allowing for a balanced household. They are warm and demand high standards from their children.

The parents in this show appear to be the family next-door, making their parenting style very realistic. The show tends to be nostalgic because of the type of ideal family it portrays.

Permissive- Mother of Regina (“Mean Girls”): The mother in this movie spoils her child, gives no consequences, is warm and accepting of her child and her friends, and makes few demands. She acts like a friend to Regina instead of a parental figure.

While this movie exaggerates the role of a permissive parent to make it funny, much of the mothers behavior is similar to that which occurs in a permissive household. It even leads to the consequences expected from this parenting style, including little self-control and engaging in risky behavior.

According to Locke, what are the
xxTIMURxx [149]

Answer:

John Locke was an English philosopher, economist, and physician of the Enlightenment period. In his views on unwritten natural law as the basis of formal constitutional law, Locke made the social contract the basis of his plea for popular sovereignty, the idea that the monarch or the government should reflect the will of the people. Thus, for Locke, the social contract forms the agreement between the ruler and the people, and it is precisely the limit to the powers and attributions that the ruler has over its citizens.

In the United States, the social contract is embodied in the Constitution, which is the fundamental legal text of the nation that is responsible for recognizing civil rights and limiting the powers of the government.
